Hey kids, it's Monday, and here I am in bed, at noon. Peeling myself out of bed in the morning err- afternoon is getting tough. So, what's new with me... I bought a little mp3 player the other day. It's about the size of a dental floss box and it holds 64mb worth of music. Amazing stuff. I plugged my car stereo into it and finally I have music in the car again. For those of you who don't know, I removed my car stereo because I was simplifying my life. If that sounds extreme, click here to see what I'm talking about. So anyways, yeah, the car stereo has always been one of those things that kind of catches my attention. But you know what? Life isn't made up of what you collect, it's made up of the friends and family you keep and the laughter/tears that you share with them. Anyways, time to pull myself out of bed and get ready for work...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

So it's Mother's day, and after getting in from the party last night at 4am, I went out to pick up flowers, slippers, a card, and a bag to hold it all in. If you want to check out the pictures from last night's party, click here.

Well, here we are on May 11... Justin Kartler [picture here] has FINALLY graduated, along with Mark Pipher [there is no picture for Mark due to the fact that nobody has ever seen him because he studies too much].

Today I'll be going to Colleen's [picture here] house for a graduation party that is sure to be fun just because we're a fun group of kids [pictures here].

It's been a while since there has been an update to this page. A LONG WHILE.

Today at work, I talked to the founder of A Ray of Light, it is an organization where Christianity is used as a base in the workplace and as a ministry throughout corporate America.

The organization has two main branches that stem off the root of the company. The root being- a charitable ministry where people/companies can donate to the cause. This stems to two branches, one that preaches the word of God and how we can embrace those principles that we find in the bible and apply them in the workplace to create a more satisfying and spiritual experience. The other branch of the company will be the business network. A network of companies that all adhere to the principles and have gone through the process of applying the biblical principles to their own business practices. Within this network, companies can meet and conduct business with each other and enter into a meeting with an existing trust between the two companies and put to ease the natural uncertainty of dealing with a new company.

It is a wonderful concept and I ALMOST left my job to help with the cause and to help proliferate corporate America with this new company's outlook and ideals. Perhaps I may still leave, I don' t know. It depends on how successful that company becomes and then we'll see.

My parents mentioned the other day that they wanted to try this "new" place called the Bamboo Club so we went there for lunch and it was decent food. Nothing THAT great... I would have preferred Kyoto's in old town Scottsdale.
