So I got back from Ohio and had a really fun time. I actually went to the convent where Rainman was filmed! I also met some cool people, a couple of them being Patricia and Sarah. I don't know how many of you have been to Ohio, but it is so very humid there. I got bit by so many mosquitoes. Hrmm... the Mitsubishi commercial just came on the television. This gal on the commercial isn't that great of a dancer. But I totally dig the music.
So as I was saying last week, all my friends are progressing with their lives in solid sure-footed directions. Brad and Colleen are finalizing their honeymoon plans. Eric just signed on to the Fire Department (watch out ladies, I've heard he's a dangerous hunk with US flags in the shape of thongs). Jen is moving to San Diego with her boyfriend. So yeah, it's good to hear that my friends are doing awesome things with their lives.
And here I am plugging away at my job, thinking about how to get the knowledge of this PHP book on my desk into my head. Work is coming along pretty well. I have been slowly increasing productivity and results in my department. (that sounds so cool to say, "my department"... because I suppose- I am the only team leader in that department). Hopefully I'll get to grow my department to a few people.
