This week has been pretty fun. My uncle and aunt came in from out of town and we all got to spend some time together and had dinner at PF Changs. If you've been a dedicated reader of the 'cliffud', you probably have noticed other visits to Changs recently. It really is a good dining experience. And I believe my opinion is widely shared because Changs has been listed in the Fortune 500 as one of the top 'up and coming' companies. Surprisingly their stock is listed on the NASDAQ (PFCB); I say surprisingly because the NASDAQ is usually reserved for the more technology driven companies.

I also received the laptop I bought over eBay a couple of weeks ago. It's a Dell C600 with a 1.2 Ghz, 512mb of ram, 20gb hard drive... It's a nice machine, but my IBM's mouse/keyboard feels better so I'm not really sure if I want to keep it because for about the same amount of money, I can get a Toshiba Libretto L5 shipped from Japan. It's one of the lightest and smallest laptops on the market and touts a Crusoe 800mhz processor. A little slower, but hey- it can almost fit in your pocket!!

Unfortunately I don't have a positive update on my quest for the ever elusive "awesome deal on an acura cl". I have found a couple in Arizona but the little dealership that is selling them is asking more than what I can get for my kidney- i mean- more than what I want to spend.

Some of you faithful readers have been asking for a picture of me with my new haircut.

Work is going well and everyday I'm grateful I got a job at GoDaddy.com. I get to work with cool people, I get to meet cool people, I'm gaining experience as a manager and I get to head up a whole department.

An update on my phone experiences... Some of you know that I have changed phones 4 times in the past few months. Well, let me give you a little summary.

The samsung 8500 was a good phone. But I kind of wanted something new. I first bought it when I was in San Francisco working my first job.

I also went and bought one of those Cricket phones bundled with the Cricket service. The phone was the WORST CELL PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD. It dropped calls, the interface wasn't intuitive, you couldn't keep multiple numbers for one person... it was just a mess.

I complained about the service with Sprint with the dropped calls and they said they would give me a TouchPoint 1100 at a discounted price. It turned out to be not much better than the Samsung.

I FINALLY came across the Sanyo 5150. It's a really cool phone that has a ringer that "meows". It also can download images from your computer and it has a color screen. It helps me with a little calendar and is just really groovy looking. BUT-BUT-BUT, it doesn't interface with Outlook which the store rep claimed it would do and so I am RETURNING it for a Sony/Ericsson T68. The T68 is a pretty neat phone that offers bluetooth/infrared syncing/a color screen and interfaces with Outlook via infrared. (I hope to use it with my new Dell)

I have to credit my friend Francis for turning me to the phone. He actually lost his around his apartment for a day because it was so small!

Woke up late today. Around noon and dilly dallied the day away till 7ish when I took my parents out to dinner at PF Changs.

They liked it a lot more than the Bamboo Club but it wasn't really a fair comparison. We only tried the lunch menu at B.C. so tomorrow we might go to B.C. for dinner and then Pei Wei's on Wednesday night when my uncle and aunt fly into town from LA.

Woke up today and I went golfing with some coworkers from Go Daddy. We played at the golf course right next to ASU east.

Yes, the one by William's Air Force Base.

Here are some pictures from the golf outing:

Later that night, I went over to Michelle's house to play Monopoly and Jenga and some other nice board games that I haven't played with in over 10 years... But she's a cutie so I didn't mind.

Oh yeah, I remember this quote that I heard a while ago.

My focus so intense that the target fills my world, so large that it cannot be missed.
