Yesterday a lot of things happened.
-My friend Angie went home to Georgia :( I miss ya babe!!
-I helped Zach move into his new house.
-I saw two college kids walking around with Sponge Bob Square Pants backpacks, shirts, and hats. It was pretty funny.
-I found out that Mike D is having his bachelor party next weekend and we're partying at the house next Friday and Saturday. WooooooHoooooo!!!

Recently I found out that my friend Angie is coming to visit me. I'm soooooooooooooo happy because I was supposed to go meet her in Vegas a couple of years ago but unfortunately I wasn't able to do so due to work and stuff. But now that she's coming out to AZ, I'm super excited to hang out with her and show her all around Scottsdale/Phoenix.
And in other news- I was thinking today, perhaps overanalyzing as Jackie would say, and I realized that I learn better when I can understand logistically how the small details relate to the larger details. Reading is more of a linear way of learning. Each word has to be read prior to the next and naturally, each sentence has to be read before the next. Reading what someone has written to learn and understand concepts is the worst way to learn because you're taking that writer's perception of the concept. If you don't have the same mentality and reference points that the writer has, then you're not going to be able to understand the concept as quickly as possible. Now if you were given a workflow chart of how things relate from one to another then you could see the concepts and interpret them for yourself.
Long story even longer, I'm going to experiment with taking notes in Microsoft Visio for my real estate stuff and possibly some other things. I'll keep ya posted on how it all works out.

So what do YOU do on your way to lunch with the family at a nice sushi restaurant?
a) internally contemplate on what kind of sushi you're hungry for that day?
b) talk with your big brother because you haven't talked to him for a while and because he's one cool guy?
c) quietly enjoy the smooth buttery ride in one of your dad's cars and think about how proud you are of your parents for what they've accomplished?
d) bravely pick your nose hairs while your brother drives at 45mph over all kinds of crazy bumps on camelback road.
my brother chose 'd' too.

Jen Walrond is officially a rockstar!
I checked my e-mail the other day and found these great photos that she took from the get together on Dec 23.
Naturally... again, good friends, nice food, and tasty drinks all come together to make another fun night for 'the gang'.

If anyone has more photos, e-mail me and I'll post them!
