I recently just posted about how my phone number changed.

Turns out T-Mobile was able to port my number back over so it is now the old 602.300.7153.

Now if I could just stop playing with my phone...

So far, I've done the following:

- unlocked it so any sim card will work in it.
- played XM radio on it.
- installed virtual earth which is the same as google maps.
- installed AOL AIM / MSN Messenger / Yahoo Chat / etc...
- played music videos on it.
- overclocked it so I could play music videos on it.
- reset the WHOLE thing twice now and that has required me to put in all the applications, contacts, settings, etc...

When I find a sweet deal, I like to share. There is a free phone (after rebates) on Amazon that does a myriad of amazing things. It's for the t-mobile service and if you're thinking about switching carriers, this may be a good reason to switch now.

Key features of the phone:

1) It has wifi - which means you can use it to surf the web on an 802.11b/g wireless network. It also has bluetooth.
2) It has a camera (with video) with a flash. It's only 1.3 megapixels though so don't expect to do any African Safari photoshoots with it.
3) Runs Microsoft Windows - allows you to view office docs like excel / word / powerpoint etc...
4) Largest keyboard available on such a small phone - see photo attached.
5) Syncs with Microsoft Outlook
6) Plays mp3s and videos (for those of you who are entertainment oriented)

Here are the links so you can check it out for yourselves:

Here are the rebates that make the phone FREE:

$150 Rebate

Goal 1) Lead his company to the top of the computing world.
Goal 2) As a byproduct of goal 1, become richest man in world.
Goal 3) As a byproduct of goal 2, help world.

According to the American Foundation for the Blind, there are approximately 1.3 million legally blind people in the United States.

How do you offend all of them in 30 seconds? Naturally, host a press conference, then proceed to make fun of a blind man on national television.

Here's the video:

Here's the article:

President Bush To Legally Blind Reporter: ‘Are You Going to Ask That Question with Shades On?’
At a press conference this morning, President Bush needled Los Angeles Times reporter Peter Wallsten after he stood up to ask a question wearing sunglasses. “Are you going to ask that question with shades on?” Bush said, telling Wallsten, “I’m interested in the shade look, seriously.”

But as Wonkette first noted, and which ThinkProgress subsquently confirmed, Wallsten is legally blind. Wallsten tells us he has a rare genetic disorder called Stargardt’s Disease. The disease is a form of macular degeneration that can be slowed “by wearing UV-protective sunglasses and avoiding exposure to bright light.”

Wallsten said Bush’s comments did not offend him at all. “I never advertise it to him. I’ve never told him.”

Watch it:

Transcript below:

THE PRESIDENT: Yes, Peter. Are you going to ask that question with shades on?

Peter: I can take them off.

THE PRESIDENT: I’m interested in the shade look, seriously.

Peter: All right, I’ll keep it, then.

THE PRESIDENT: For the viewers, there’s no sun. (Laughter.)

Peter: I guess it depends on your perspective. (Laughter.)

THE PRESIDENT: Touche. (Laughter.)

Peter: Following up on the other Peter’s question about Karl Rove, you said that you were relieved with what happened yesterday. But the American public, over the course of this investigation, has learned a lot about what was going on in your White House that they didn’t know before, during that time, the way some people were trying to go after Joe Wilson, in some ways. I’m wondering if, over the course of this investigation, that you have learned anything that you didn’t know before about what was going on in your administration. And do you have any work to do to rebuild credibility that might have been lost?

THE PRESIDENT: I think that — first of all, the decision by the prosecutor speaks for itself. He had a full investigation. Karl Rove went in front of the grand jury like — I don’t — a lot of times. More times than — they took a hard look at his role.

Secondly, as I told the other Peter, I’m going to tell you, that there’s an ongoing trial, it’s a serious business. And I’ve made the comments I’m going to make about this incident, and I’m going to put this part of the situation behind us and move forward.

You remember Screech from Saved By The Bell?

Here's his site... He's trying to raise $250,000 to save his house because he's broke.

What kind of moron do you have to be to screw up like that?

What a sweet car... :)

Amazing what lowering it and adding wheels will do to the look of a car.

I hate to see people get ripped off by auto mechanics. If you usually take your car to Jiffy Lube for service... you may change your mind after seeing this video.

As most of you know, I'm not a fan of speed cameras on streets. Some people I know VERY well have received them and I just don't think they're that accurate.

Here's a perfect example.

This article is about a Hyundai Sonata that was caught doing 147mph. My first reaction is "Bravo!", that's a tremendous speed to tackle. My colleague's first reaction was - "This is bollocks! (he's from Scotland) I don't think the car can go that fast! This is why I think police officers are..." And then he went off on a tirade that will have to be covered in a different post. Anyway, that got me thinking so I did a quick search for the top speed of a Hyundai Sonata.

If you do a quick google search, you'll find that the Hyunadai Sonata has a maximum speed of 137mph. In fact, here's a screenshot from CarandDriver.com showing the vehicle stats!

So I agree.

BOLLOCKS!

The scary part is the fact that the newspaper stated speeds between 102-147. That's a pretty big gap!

By The Tempest, at 3:16 PM

it could of been upgraded with some leet shit to make it go faster.
