I haven't posted in a while so I apologize. I've been a bad boy. :)

Several interesting tidbits:

1) I bought a few shirts from threadless. They're pretty funny and I like the grassroots community idea where submitters can get their shirt printed if there are enough votes for it.

Here's one of the designs I bought. I think I'll wear it to church!

2) Car is getting painted right now. It had some imperfections from the last time the shop painted it early last year. It's been a little overdue.

3) I don't know what came over me but I picked up a personalized license plate the other day. As if I need to make it easier to make my plate memorable when police officers randomly enter in plates at stop lights just to see if everyone around them is legit...

Whatcha think?

Yes, there is one on the car as well.

:)

4) One month from now I will be in Northern California at the largest gathering of Lexus owners on the West coast called End of Summer - EOS. Woo! More info

5) One month and a week from now, I'll be going to my high school 10 year reunion. I've already been pinged by a few people on myspace.com via my page there so this should be interesting to see how everyone has changed. Or hasn't changed?

So I went to Seattle this past weekend. To surprise Michelle for her birthday I secretly worked with her friends back home to coordinate a trip back to Seattle for 3 days. It was buckets of fun without the buckets of rain since Seattle during the summer is a time of happiness all around the city.

I'll post more about the trip and a few highlight photos later but upon coming back from Seattle it was my mother's birthday so we went and picked up a couple of toy poodles for our parents. One for her parents and one for my mom. My parents could not believe we bought them a dog but hey- if we didn't do it, they never would have bought one on their own. :)

Anyway, I'm off to start reading my 200+ e-mails that I recieved while I was gone for 2 days. :(

Today I heard the sound of several hundred hopes and dreams evaporate in the 100+ degree heat.

Where was I?
At a company meeting in the parking lot of our office.

How hot was it?
Daaaaamn hot. It's safe to say that it was over a hundred degrees.

Why did several hundred hopes and dreams evaporate?
Because GoDaddy is not going public this year.
