I thought these things were tough!

Sheeesh!

Well, I guess I'll scratch that off my Christmas list.

It's 4am. You know you're passionate about something when you work on the computer until 4am and you still haven't showered yet.

:)

For those of you who know what I'm working on - it'll be launching by the end of the month. Tonight a milestone was reached.

One of my favorite places to eat...

Flo's

Flo has done an incredible job of creating 3 different restaurants with 3 unique styles of food all within the same 5-mile radius. The best part is that they're all named the same so going from one to another is great because it's different yet you get the same great service and quality of food no matter which one you visit.

Additionally- she's had the opportunity to open a cafe in the Sky Harbor Airport in Terminal 4. It's definitely a nice addition to the traditionally "blah" airport food.

:)

Go Flo!

So I get an e-mail today from a Youth Leader at my church. It wasn't just to me but to quite a few people. Anyone know if "Youth Leader" is a job title or more of a job decription?

Haha.

Anyway- I get this e-mail today:

------------------------------------------------

Subject: Walmart supports homosexuals

Body: Hey everyone, this is a message that was posted by my old college pastor whose now a missionary in Albania. I thought you might all be interested and lend a bit of support:

Take a Stand

I wasn't going to share this with all of you until I read this verse
and realized it was my duty:

Ephesians 5:11 And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of
darkness, but instead even expose them;

Takes 30 seconds. This is a particular issue for us missionaries since
this is where we get 90% of our supplies when we are on furlough; we
don't want to have to lose this.

Thanks.

Now, in order for you to understand the gravity of how shocking this e-mail is, you have to do a little digging. Digging defined as clicking the link which was broken but I pieced it together again, reading, and clicking the article link to the list of other companies who support homosexuals.

Here is the main point of the link:

OH MY GOODNESS!! I had no idea our church was supporting homosexuals via a link from the homosexual web site!!

So I wrote this e-mail to the sender and everyone else on the e-mail list.

------------------------------------------------

*name not disclosed*,

3 things:

1) This is a broken link. Fixed here: https://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/signpetition.asp?id=1630

2) Why are we purchasing missionary supplies from an affiliate link off the homosexual group’s web site? Does Roger in Albania know this?

3) Interestingly enough, here is a list of over 50 other companies that are contributing to the homosexual group via affiliate links and the percentage or dollar amount next to each company. This was taken from a page off the afa.net web site as well. URL: http://www.afa.net/dcmetrowalmartdonation.htm. In the future, I suggest that you and Roger in Albania do not click the links on the homosexual group’s web site when you shop since that is how donations are made. If however you have been a customer of these companies via ANY OTHER MEANS than clicking a link on the homosexual group’s web site, you have not been supporting the homosexual group.
