It's been a while since I've last posted so here goes a late attempt to keep you all up to date.

1) No new car planned for 2007/2008. I've done a lot of soul searching and as much as I like the idea of purchasing a new car, I don't think I will be buying a new one this year since my car runs relatively fine. Lexus makes a great car - with over 165,000 miles and it being 10 years old, I'm surprised it's still going. The idea of having a new car sounds great but really, the money could be put to better use since the economy is going to crap and real estate prices are falling faster than George Bush's popularity rating. So perhaps some real estate investments?

2) I'm officially addicted to Wii. Over the holidays my brother, aka "the doc", racked up over 30 hours of play time on the new Wii GodFather game. After coming back from vacation, I followed suit and racked over 35 hours as well.

3) Snowboarding is easy if you don't care where you're going. Keep that in mind and smile when you go out there because if you're like me, you'll be crashing into the bed of a parked truck and laughing your ass off as you hit the ground.

4) Clear bra and headlight overlay films are expensive. But - it can be a small price to pay when considering the price of repainting your car to get rid of the paint chips. To find some resources - check these pages: http://www.clearbrafilms.com and http://www.headlightoverlays.com.

5) My version of Mao Ze Dong's wikipedia entry is SO MUCH BETTER.

Mao Ze Dong was a Chinese military and political leader who led the Communist Party of China from 1949 to 1976. Regarded as one of the most important figures in modern world history, few knew the private side of him as "Mickey Mao".

It's been said that he would host lavish parties at his house and that the names of his socio-political programs such as the "Great Leap Forward" were coined after many drunken nights of leap frog with close friends in Beijing. His other program named the "Cultural Revolution" was aptly named after his spin the bottle games with international guests and foreign diplomats.

Thirty years later the truth can be told about Mao's secret life as Mickey Mao and his memory as a "PAM" (Party Animal Mao) now lives on through this shirt.

6) Roombas Rock. I was very impressed at how much stuff mine picked up on the first cleaning session in my house. Believe me, if you hate vacuuming as much as I do or as much as any bachelor does - get one. I sat on the sofa with my dog and watched it roam around the living room for an hour and although that sounds really boring, it isn't.

7) My search engine optimization skills surprise even myself. When you're a fly by the seat of your pants site designer and post a site to the web and a month later find that site ranking in the top 10 on google.com when doing a broad search, um, that's kinda shocking.

8) N3rd5 in Ph03n1x! I discovered a cool group of people in Phoenix, AZ this past week. They were all at a monthly gathering called "refresh phoenix". I encourage you to check it out if you live in Phoenix. Here's their site: http://www.refreshphoenix.com.

Here are some projects that I saw in the works at the gathering:

9) I went to a Russell Peters show just recently. Sat right in front and he kindly used me in part of his routine. "Hi!, I'm Criff!"

10) Stealing other people's sites to defraud people is bad. If you've ever thought about stealing someone else's eCommerce site to post as your own and "sell" things without any intent of fulfilling orders, don't. God kills a kitten every time a site is spoofed to rip people off.
